Here is a little video, showing how to do increases on the Kiss 2 Way Adjustable, for the gusset of the mittens.
I've been pretty busy, both at work and with my looms. I want to show you some of the things I got done, and I have on the works. Ready?
This were the first 2 Baby Cocoons, they are made with the same pattern, on different gauges and yarn, so one is for a new born and the other one is for a preemie.
Then is a preemie blanket done in Ziz Zag Lace with a crochet edge.
Talking about stitches:here is a variation of the Zig Zag Lace
More felted brimmed hats:
A set for a baby: Cocoon, Seamless hat and booties:
Once that get a nice looking model, and take some more pictures, I 'll show the rest.
Happy Looming!
The sweater for my friend turn out the right size, see she is an internet friend, so I never met her.
Then, I was never happy with the red and black, it was too short and the neck was too wide, so I did it again, this time on the Kiss, with u-stitch! What do you think?
Yesterday the hats and booties, started their travel to TTT.
And last I made a pair of mittens, Bob calls them the smoking mittens, they were done on the prototype for The Kiss 2 way adjustable gague. I like how the gusset turn out.
Hope your Holidays will be full of peace and love!
Long time without posting!I have been pretty busy! Got a new toy: the adjustable Kiss sock loom for fine gauge! And I got some of the new Red Heart for socks, and also some of the Sensation sock yarn, playing around has been great!
Here is the loom with GumBall's sock!
Some of the other socks I made with the Adjustable:
What do you think about Mr. GumBall?
Then I decided to try the felted beret pattern on the Kiss, I think it turn out pretty good.
No, time left to make Christmas Presents, so the Kiss got assemble as a board for 2 quick project:
I wanted for a while to make a pair of baby pants with booties:
They have snaps on the legs to make it easier to put them on. Now to find the time to write the pattern!
And last I am working on 2 sweaters, this is one of them:
The yarn is Vanna's Choice, love that yarn!
Hope to see you soon!
This week, I finally realized that like many of you, I have Detour Syndrome. I am afraid that is why is going to take for ever to finish the Crazy Afghan and the Monster Afghan!
One of this week's detour was : the Seamless hat! one of the groups was talking about it, so I try to find the pattern for it, but couldn't so I did a baby hat and then after a couple of tries, I made one for me that fits just perfect! Are you ready to see me?
No! that is Betty!
That is me, hope nobody got scared.
Now, I have to make one for my son, he wants it a little bit tighter, so I took one washer out, it should be finished tomorrow.
Oh,I almost forgot, I made a second triangular shawl, on Suede Yarn, pretty long, but that is the way my friend want it.
I got some more yarn! Rd Heart socks yarn and glow in the dark!
With the glow in the dark I started an scarf, show you that next post, and the sock yarn is waiting for the arrival of a new loom!
Please remember to look at the Patterns category for freebies, an inspiration.
Have a great week!
I have been having so many detours! The poor afghans are going to be done in 20 years! But there is so good stuff out there!
So Lauri Champion presented the Magic Sweater to the Class, I look at it and just couldn't ignore it:
Here is Honey, showing off this beautiful sweater.
Then Francisco posted to the Kiss Group, his awesomes triangular shawls, and I couldn't resist that either:
And I had to make something with the tubular cast on:
There a pair of tube socks-slippers.
Well, I hope I don't take many more detours from now on, but who knows!
Have a great looming time!
Maria wanted to share with us, how to do the Long Tail Cast on using the Kiss, so she sent me the info, and asked me to do a video, using my friend, Goliat.
Here is Goliat showing us how to:
Here is the written tutorial for the tubular cast on, for regular looms.
The sample was done using the Wonder Loom from Decor Accents.
Let me know if you use this cast on and on what projects.
Have a great week!
