Looms, Boards and Graciela

What a week! I started a backpack, I want to make at least one outside pocket. Here is where I am with it:

Then I got the new set of kk, I had to play with them, so I made a little belt or maybe an scarf with it, on a lace stitch.

here it goes:

It is done on pretty thin yarn. The next pic shows it next to a Red Heart piece.

Then, little old me got hit by a truck, not my vehicle, but me, while walking thru the parking lot to Michael's. Oh well, I am ok, but I was very shaken up, so there went my Friday and Saturday. Then today was preemie hats day, and found a wonderful edging done by Debbie W. from one of the groups I belong to. I don't think the pic show it that good, but it is wonderful.

Another Lace Stitch

Wanting to play around with my new kk looms, I came up with another lace stitch.

This week worked more on the baby blanket. Don't ask why, but I did the center piece on figure 8, and then I added an edging on criss cross sticht.

Also I Knitted the shrug/vest for a 44" around, and rewrote the pattern.

Now, I am trying to decide what next. Socks toe up? A felted back pack, just a little bag for me? the ones, I made went for Mother's Day presents. Skirt? What next? I don't know.

Grafting

Grafting is a real neat technique, to put two sides together without seing or feeling the stiching. I love this method to finished the toes of socks.

Not much, going on the looming world, plenty on the family side of things. So I finished the blue plastic thread bag, working on the 42 size shrug/vest, going on with the baby blanket and the 4 little  hats. And Bob ordered a new camera for me. And to everyone, have  a wonderful Mothers Day Year.

Come and see everything I started this week; maybe next week it will finished. I started a Baby blanket that I will put and edging done with the board. The blue thing on the middle is an small bag done with plastic thread, I found it today at Michael's on the kids section craft.

The ribbon bag, I wrote the pattern, and it is a free download.

I made a first attempt to a reversible stitch on the boards, needs a lot more work, but I am convinced it is doable, so next week you will see at least another try.
