Looms, Boards and Graciela

Well, besides shopping and wrapping not too much last week. I got the Ajal last Friday and Rebe's sock needed to be finished before Sunday evening; here they are:

It was pretty cold, so I needed a nice warm hat. Time to get the double decker out and the beautiful yarn, Florence send me.

Christmas was nice. I got 2 loom related presents, one I asked for: the double decker for preemie size hats:

I stayed up till 2 am. making little hats. 

The other one is a beautiful scarf that Bob's mom, loomed for me

The first sleeve for the sweater is done:

and, I made the Hugging Sweater on new born size and now working on a matching blanket, but starting it at one corner.

Last I just finished writing the pattern for the Bed for Kitty Cat. Some of you asked for it.

Well I am not ready. I did not do any shopping; next Saturday we'll do that. This week was Playing time!

The back and front of the sweater, on Pat Novak's board are done:

I had to finish the blue slippers, since yesterday was the last day we saw our friend before Christmas, and I did a pair of little socks on a 12 pegs, fine gauge. I couldn't resit to put them together and think that who ever will wear the little guys will grow up to use slippers that big.

Then using the adjustable board, Bob made, I make 2 little blankies, they have the same amount of pegs, and they are done with the same yarn, but they illustrate how 2 different stitches behave:

                                   Before that was the green and yellow blanket and the lace blanket with matching hat; also done with the adjustable board.

Then I started booties for the yellow blankets, so far I only have 1 done; on fine gauge, 18 pegs. Yes Bob made that one for me.

Rebe, wants a pair of socks, and I order the Nylon pegs, adjustable fine gauge. I hope I will get it on time to make them for next Sunday! We open presents at midnight on the 24th.

Busy, busy! Still so much shopping to do!

I made a little bed, for Autumn, our kitty cat.It was suppose to be her Christmas present, but silly me, I left it on the bed, and she found it, and claimed it. It is done on the regular gauge adjustable loom, from Decor Accents. Now, what are we going to give her as her present?

The pair of socks for Nicky are finally done, and she either got tired of finding something wrong or she likes them. I used the 40 pegs, fine gauge loom, from Lynn Markman.       

Another Hugging Sweater and matching hat.

They are done on the small adjustable loom, Bob made for me. Tomorrow the hats, sweater and blankies are going to be mailed.

I got the board from Knitting Boards, and started a sweater on stockinette stitch, with the Bernat Snow Ghost. It is going to be different than the others ones I made so far. We'll see how long it takes me...
